If multiple trips are booked in the same season, it is required to complete the helicopter, companion rescue and mountain safety training sessions again.
- Complete any additional documentation as required by EPH, which may include a health declaration; and
- Complete any health or epidemic testing as may be required by government authorities or EPH, in our sole discretion.
If you fail or refuse to complete any of these steps, your booking will be cancelled, and no refund will be provided.
8. Cancellation by EPH and Refund Policy
- Heliskiing is a unique experience that is highly subject to weather and snowpack conditions. These conditions are constantly changing and add an element of complexity to each Heliski day. We reserve the right to cancel a Heliski day, in part or in whole, for any reason, including weather, ski conditions, operational emergencies, mechanical reasons, pandemics, staffing issues, or insufficient guest bookings. This cancellation can occur either on the morning of your trip or numerous days before your trip has commenced.
- EPH will not provide you with a refund or compensation for any expenses related to your booking or trip to Revelstoke, including airfare, car rentals, and accommodation. EPH strongly recommends that you purchase additional insurance.
- While we make best efforts to ensure each guest has read, agreed, and met our ability requirements, no refunds shall be provided if your group skis at a greater or lesser ability than you.
- All refunds will be completed in Canadian Dollars via your original payment method only. Refunds cannot be applied to incidental costs you incur during your stay (liquor/wine/beer, massage services, and retail purchases). No adjustments will be made to the refund to account for differences in the exchange rate between the time payment was made and the refund was issued.
- Cancellation After Trip Has Commenced: EPH reserves the right to cancel your booking for any reason at any time. All efforts will be exhausted in order to avoid any cancellation. Please see below for program specific refund policies when either the trip has already commenced or the decision to cancel was made the night before or on the morning of your trip. When possible, EPH will make best efforts to reschedule your trip to a different date. If this is possible the cancellation fee as identified below for each program for the original ski date would still be applied. As follows:
- Day Heli Program Refund Policy: Our Day Heli program is based on "runs skied":
- For all cancelled days where no runs or only a single run was achieved, a $200 cancellation fee plus applicable tax will be applied to all Day Heli Program bookings regardless of time of season. This cancellation fee has been calculated and allows EPH to cover all staffing costs already committed to your Heliski trip. If we were able to achieve 2 to 5 runs that day, this cancellation fee has been applied to the refund amounts in the chart below.
- If a Heliski day commences and a minimum of 6 runs is not achieved, a refund regardless of time of the season will be issued for the following amount, plus applicable taxes:
Runs skied |

2 |
$1,060 plus taxes |
3 |

- If an additional run package was purchased and EPH was unable to complete this package, a refund of $150 per missed run plus applicable taxes up to the 3 runs included will be issued.
- Lodge Based Program Refund Policy: Our Lodge Based Program is based on “vertical skied”:
- If EPH cancels a full Heliski day once your trip has commenced, a refund equal to $1,590 for December program, $2,710 for Peak Season program, and $1,920 for Spring program plus applicable taxes per day will be issued. A cancellation fee of $200 plus applicable taxes per day will be applied. This cancellation fee allows EPH to cover all staffing costs already committed to your Heliski trip. The guaranteed meters for the remainder of the trip will be reduced by 3,000 meters.
- If EPH has a partial down day or cancels a portion of your day throughout the trip, at the end of your scheduled trip the total vertical you have skied will be calculated. If the total cumulative vertical skied is less than EPH’s 3,000 meters per day guarantee, you will be issued a refund at the rate of $580 per 1,000 meter of shortfall, plus applicable taxes.
- Unlimited Private Refund Policy: Our Unlimited Private Program is based on “vertical skied”:

All efforts will be exhausted in order to avoid any cancellation. EPH will endeavour to give as much notice as possible if this situation occurs. Please see below for program specific refund policies.

9. Guest Cancellation
- If you wish to cancel your trip, for any reason, you must notify EPH in writing by email to [email protected]. Trip Cancellation Insurance, which is not included in any package, is highly recommended. Your cancellation is only effective at the time we confirm the cancellation in writing to you.

- If you can't find a suitable replacement guest for your trip, notify us immediately and EPH will make best efforts to resell your trip on the following terms:
- EPH will use reasonable efforts to resell your trip at full price;
- If EPH resells your trip, a refund of the resale value less a $100 per person per day admin fee for any trip paid in full, or $30 per person per day admin fee if only the deposit is paid plus applicable taxes will be issued;
- No refunds will be issued for any portions of your trip that EPH is unsuccessful in reselling;
- EPH will not offer to resell any cancelled seats for our Unlimited Private Program. EPH highly recommends additional travel insurance policies to help cover lost funds for these bookings; and
- EPH makes no guarantees that we will be successful in reselling any cancelled seat on behalf of our guests.
- If at any point during your trip you arrive late, sustain injury, become ill, decide to end your day earlier than other guests or the guide, or you are instructed to stop skiing because EPH (in our sole discretion) determines that you are injured, ill, otherwise not physically fit or able to continue, no refund will be provided for your trip even if the run or vertical minimum is not met. In certain situations, Trip Interruption Insurance through our provider (only included in the Day Heli and Lodge programs) may help cover lost funds, we make no guarantees to this effect. EPH reserves the right to deem you incapable of participation in your trip if, in our sole opinion, you do not pass our health checks. If EPH deems you incapable of participation, you will be deemed to have cancelled your booking at that time, and our standard cancellation policy will apply.

- In the event of injury while Heliskiing with EPH, a standard rescue fee of $500 plus applicable taxes will be charged to cover expenses incurred. At time of injury, your seat will be deemed to be cancelled and our standard cancellation policy will apply. No refunds will be issued for missed runs due to injury. EPH provides limited Medical Travel Insurance as part of your trip. All claims require seeing a physician in Canada in a timely manner.
- If you have pre-booked a massage after your day of Heliskiing and are unable to attend your appointment, your appointment will be deemed to be cancelled with no refunds issued.
